The Reception: Where?

We haven't reserved the church yet so we still don't have a definite date but I'm already scouting for a great reception venue. Since sa Tagaytay ang place, i don't like to go to the usual hotels and halls. Gusto ko outdoors at may view ng Taal. What's the use of having a reception in Tagaytay if di naman ma enjoy ang cool breeze at breath-taking view? So i googled "wedding receptions venue in Tagaytay" and voila! here's my list:

1. Lake Garden Hotel - great view from the garden at pwede exclusive use of whole hotel as in included ang 8 rooms nila for just 30k! pero sabi ng sister ko di daw maganda ang entrance at rooms, parang luma. (check out: havenhotelsph.com)

2. HillCreek Garden - so beautiful! my dream venue. but over our budget, like almost 80k. so out na sya. hehe. (check out: www.hillcreekgardenstagaytay.com)

3. Rosemont Gardens - nice garden with an even nicer view of the lake, 45k rent for the garden and house, which is nice pwede na mag prepare ang bride at mga abay sa rooms nila (check out: rosemontgardens.net)

4. Japanese Garden - i just read this in a blog that it's gov't owned so cheaper ang rent for private functions but i don't know who to contact to reserve the place

5. Villa Ibarra - i liked the spanish era look but too expensive din, 200k++ i think. @.@ (check out: www.ibarraspartyvenues.com.ph)

6. Balai Taal - i'm so in love with this place! kahit s pictures ko pa lang nakita. hehe. they have a package for 100k++ (venue only) and H2B wanted the place kahit medyo mahal, pero the "kuripot" inside of me made me think twice >.< (check out: jotan23.blogspot.com)

As of now, i'm leaning towards Rosemont Gardens. It'd be less hassle since may rooms na sila for wedding preps and I won't have to book hotel rooms for that. The fact that the garden view and rooms are really great, i can say it's worth what they charge for.
